Library of Things

Thanks to a generous grant from the VT Humanities Council in 2021, the Solomon Wright Public Library began offering a circulating collection of nontraditional items. These items are available for any SWPL patron with a library card in good standing to borrow free of charge.

Peckham Toy Library

The Peckham Toy Library was established in 2022 using funds donated in loving memory of Carolyn Peckham.

For this special collection we have selected toys that encourage creative and imaginative play and learning. You can open the bins and play here, or borrow toys to take home for a week at a time.

This collection is perfect for grandparents who have children visiting from out of town, parents who want to try before they buy, and kids who are just a little bored with the toys they already have at home and would enjoy something new to play with for a while.
